Through this space, I invite you to explore the wisdom of your heart, to attune to the nuanced languages of your body, and to welcome the synchronicities that come from living in alignment with your true self. I love helping others nurture a profound self-awareness that lays the foundation for a life filled with joy, purpose, and deep engagement with the world.
Here, we’ll practice the sacred art of being present - awakening to the richness of each moment, releasing the burdens of past wounds, and cultivating heart coherence that allows life to unfold with ease and grace. This is your call to connect intimately with the essence of who you are, to listen to the guiding voice of your intuition, and to embrace the energetic dance of your own existence.
It’s likely not the right fit for individuals closed off to exploring their emotional landscapes, those seeking quick fixes without a willingness to engage deeply in the work, or anyone skeptical about the significant role of energy and emotion in our lives. If stepping outside of comfort zones, embracing body movement, and exploring the realm of intuition and oracle guidance feels too far removed from your current path, this journey might not align with your needs.

WORDS OF REFLECTION from
Heart-Centered Leadership Workshop
“Our students start in an accelerated program and go on to a fast-paced work life. Both environments are continuous with high mental and emotional stress. Inviting Natalia on campus allows us to provide students tools they can carry with them for the rest of their life, to manage the stressors they face daily.”
WORDS OF REFLECTION from Colleen S.
“What was so unexpected was the ever lasting impact circle would have on my life. I was navigating the end of my marriage at the time. I would arrive at circle feeling like a puddle of myself. Defeated, beat down and sometimes like I was not wanting to live. When we would close out our circle at the end of the day I would feel reborn, alive and strong. I would come away feeling connected to myself, nature and the beautiful Sistren that I had shared such a sacred and loving space with. Experiencing the circle encouraged me to take time to find myself, find my joy. I learned that I deserve to enjoy the process of healing and growth even if at times it is uncomfortable!”
WORDS OF REFLECTION from Krista R,

My creation of the Art of Presence wasn’t planned; it naturally unfolded from a personal quest for healing. Initially grappling with the physical scars left by a near-death experience and multiple surgeries, I embarked on a path of yoga to mend my body but soon realized it was my mind, heart, and spirit that yearned for deeper healing. I spent years operating on autopilot - juggling motherhood, building a business, and striving for recovery, all while being oblivious to the chronic stress embedding itself within me. It was only when I introduced moments of stillness, presence, and play into my life that I began to discern the deeper roots of my unease, including the abandonment trauma that lingered from my childhood.
As I nurtured more quiet in my mind, joyful movement in my body, and connection to my intuition, I felt the energetic veil between the physical and spiritual realms lift. Through this transformation, I discovered resilience, deeper self-connection, and a profound sense of purpose in sharing this work. The most powerful revelation came in understanding that our greatest strength lies in internal peace. This understanding drives my commitment to Art of Presence - guiding others to remember how to intuitively tap into this peace, to listen deeply to their bodies, and to embrace each moment with intentional presence.
An avid adventurer at heart, I’ve skydived, ice climbed in the Swiss Alps, and kayaked in open waters. I love dancing barefoot, swimming in the ocean, and sunshine. My soul feels at home in nature.
It’s in these moments of surrender to nature and exploration of the magic of play that I find true presence and an exhilarating sense of being alive.
My journey with as a visual artist began unexpectedly after an ayahuasca ceremony; sketches of my visions flowed from me, rekindling a childhood joy I'd forgotten. This expressive meditation became a healing process, allowing a suppressed part of me to emerge and play. It taught me that we all possess hidden talents, often overlooked yet profoundly valuable, carrying the codes of our soul's authentic wisdom meant to be shared.
Surrounded by the vibrant masculine energy of my two sons and our two male dogs, my home in the Caribbean is a lively sanctuary of love and lessons; they are my greatest teachers in the art of living. Being a mother has encouraged me to explore my own relationship with femininity - and redefine what womanhood can look and feel like for me. I recently embraced my grey hair, and have found so much joy, confidence, and power from this choice.

Honoring My Unique Role:
My approach to presence and healing is rooted in my own evolution through personal trauma, highlighting the necessity of engaging deeply with our feelings to truly heal. This insight has inspired me to champion the embrace of discomfort to reforge safety and connection within the body at this moment. My methodology intertwines creative play, sacred rituals, and a deep understanding (and respect) of the human nervous system. My work acknowledges that healing encompasses not only confronting pain through cognitive AND SOMATIC awareness, but also welcoming more of what we yearn for - be it joy, peace, or a profound sense of belonging.
Through my own experiences, particularly navigating the depths of childhood abandonment, I've come to understand the power of emotional patterns and the hold they can have on us. True transformation, I've learned, is not merely cognitive but deeply somatic; it's about feeling in every fiber of my being the truths that I seek to embody. This realization has not only shaped my personal path to wholeness but also my dedication to guiding others. It requires practice, patience, and sometimes the courage to face profound truths. Through spontaneous breakthroughs and long-term intentional change GROWTH, I am deeply committed to supporting women as they reclaim their worth, their power, and their peace.

Honoring My Unique Role:
My work through Art of Presence is informed by a career rich in diverse professional experiences and in-depth training. I hold certifications in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, Integrative Pelvic Health, HeartMath™ Training, and Working with the Pain of Abandonment (from the National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioural Medicine), among others. My foundation in law (J.D. from the University of Toronto) and business (H.B.A. from the University of Western Ontario) unexpectedly complemented my later ventures into the realms of yoga, dance, meditation, and reiki, shaping a unique blend of skills and insights.
Before stepping into the world of wellness and healing, I honed my entrepreneurial skills by leading a multi-million dollar business with over a hundred employees, navigating the intricacies of work-life balance as a woman and mother. This phase taught me about the multifaceted nature of abundance and the essential equilibrium between masculine and feminine energies.
My professional endeavors have spanned from facilitating hundreds of transformative women’s circles and workshops to engaging with diverse communities in institutional settings, such as prisons and educational environments, helping to foster resilience through heart coherence techniques. Complimentary to Art of Presence, I am also a co-founder of the BEE ME Project - a holistic education company focused on mindfulness and nervous system regulation for kids, parents, educators, and organizations. Each step has reaffirmed my commitment to nurturing emotional abundance, deeper purpose, and a heartfelt connection to oneself and the community, laying the foundation for Art of Presence.

Reconnecting with our inner child through dance, art, and play is pivotal in healing, allowing us to immerse in the present moment, quiet the mind, and open up to deeper self-insights. These activities serve as playful explorations of self, embodying mindfulness and generating body awareness, coherence, and regulation. Particularly in cases of unintegrated trauma or SUPPRESSED EMOTIONAL WOUNDS, expressive modalities offer meaningful avenues for processing and integration, expanding beyond verbal expression. Embracing our inner child, we tap into our purest essence - our original nature of curiosity, joy, and uninhibited expression, often suppressed through adulthood's demands. This reconnection also facilitates healing for those who were denied free play, fulfilling deep-seated needs and nurturing parts of us craving acknowledgment and expression. Ultimately, engaging in these playful acts rejuvenates our spirit, fosters self-awareness, and catalyzes growth, reminding us of the transformative power of viewing life with wonder and curiosity.
In my work, I harmonize the realms of science and spirituality, embracing both the tangible and the intangible. This balance is achieved by acknowledging the necessity of a scientifically grounded approach to the body and its responses to stress, while also valuing the profound impact of emotional energy on physical wellbeing. Yet, science’s reach is finite, leading us to embrace spirituality and faith, recognizing our part in a larger, interconnected cosmos.
It’s about surrendering to the mysteries beyond our control and trusting in a higher purpose. By honoring our spiritual journey and seeking divine guidance, we open ourselves to synchronicities and support from the universe, proving some of the most significant insights and connections stem not from empirical proof but from the depth of personal experience.
